Participant Registration

Registration Rules

IAG invites all to participate in showcasing their talents and exhibiting the beauty of Indian arts originating from different regions, in a variety of Styles and Languages.

Registration form must be completed with the correct information for each performance. Any team or individual registering with false information may be disqualified. Please submit only one entry per performance.

Following information is required to register, please have it ready:

• E-mail Address
• Program Director (Name of the Choreographer, Dance School Name, Short Skit/Comedy act director etc.)
• Contact Phone Number
• Category (Vocal Song, Group Dance, Music/Instrument Performances, Skits/Theatrical, Stand-up Comedy)
• Language
• Program Description
• Duration of the program (in minutes)
• Movie Name & Songs
• Age group of Participants (4 to 7, 8 to 12, 13 to 18, 19 and above, Mixed)
• No. of Participants
• Participant Full Name
• Participant Member Full Name
                                                                                        Rules and Guidelines:                                                                  **********************
1. All participants must be IAG members.
2. Children below 18 yrs. must have IAG Family Membership.
3. Individual membership is for Students who are studying in the upstate. (Individual living with family, parents or with spouses do not qualify for individual membership).
4. Participants can perform up to a maximum of two items.
5. A minimum of 3 participants will be required for a performance. Exceptions would be given to performances with less than 3 participants based on review by IAG entertainment committee.
6. Group dance with 3 to 6 participants must be 6 minutes or lesser.
7. Group dance with 6 or more participants must be 8 minutes or lesser. Exceptions would be given to unique and special performance based on review by IAG entertainment committee.
8. Vocal songs / Instrumental Performances should be 6 minutes or lesser. A maximum of 3 entries will be considered, if time permits.
9. Skits/Theatrical/Drama/Comedy items (under 5 minutes) will be considered, if time permits
10. In the Dance category, repetition of songs will not be encouraged. However, if the song is part of a medley and under 1 minute in duration, it will be allowed. A maximum of 2 entries that meet this criteria will be allowed. Selection will be done in the order of first come first served basis.
11. In order to keep the event content fresh and new, we request you to refrain from submitting any items in entirety that have been performed in the past 3 months. However, we will accept a small portion of the performance, should it be part of a medley.
12. IAG will do its best to accommodate all entries. If the number of entries is more than manageable, IAG will use a selection process based on specific criteria such as Interest of audience, uniqueness of program, language, style (Classical/Semi classical/Western/Folk) and age of the participants for the waiting list items. IAG reserve the right to make the final decision. IAG may also hold online/in-person auditions to aid with selection process.
13. IAG reserves all rights to refuse any items that are deemed as inappropriate for the program.

14. All items received during registration will be reviewed and confirmed by the committee by Feb 25th, 2024.
15. Entries requiring changes will be notified on or before Feb 22nd, 2024.
16. Songs and background music for selected entries will need to be submitted in MP3 format via email to 
entertainment@myiag.org by Mar 10th 2024.
17. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL NEED TO BE CURRENT IAG MEMBERS. ALL PARTICIPANTS WHO ARE NOT MEMBERS WILL NEED TO BECOME IAG MEMBERS BY MARCH 1st, 2024.
